I should like to thank you on behalf of Marlowe Innovation Centre for your excellent help and hospitality on 8th November. Your two facilities officers were very helpful in directing people, the food was first-rate and delicious and the children who served us were polite and helpful. Cups of coffee and packs of information appeared quietly and efficiently.
Thank you again

Is it the building, or the staff or maybe the children? Whatever it is something makes the Marlowe Academy a very special place.
I have visited on several occasions, and always feel there is a buzz of excitement all round the building. The children are courteous, the staff are friendly and helpful, and even after nearly a year of being open the building still looks fresh and new.
The facilities are a great asset for everyone in Thanet and as such need to be used. So why not go along and visit, I’m sure that, like me, you will be delighted with the welcome and help you are given.

Letter from Age UK:
"Dear Friends,
Thank you so much for your recent donation of £400.00. We really appreciate this gift to help people in later life.
Age affects us all in different ways. We cannot promise good health, but we should be able to ensure good care for all of us. When we find loneliness, we will reach out. When age becomes a burden, we will lighten the load. When it becomes a prison, we will help find freedom.
Age UK will campaign. We will fundraise. We will research. We will make the powers that be listen.
Our website has details of the full spectrum of our work. Please visit us at http://www.ageuk.org.uk/ or call us on 0800 169 87 87; anyone in the team will be happy to help.
Thank you for helping us make a difference. Age UK is for all of us, because age is everything we live for.
Yours sincerely,

Please may I say a massive thank-you to the teachers, administration and catering staff, and all the wonderful pupils of the Marlowe Academy, along with the pupils of the Spires and Chilton junior schools, for the wonderful entertaining days they provide for us ex-servicemen and women.
They go to extremes for our comfort and wellbeing. They give all their time and efforts freely and willingly. It is wonderful to know these smashing youngsters are there, plus a truly wonderful staff.

"WEDG and ActionAid would like to thank the Marlowe Academy for hosting our successful mini-conference on climate change in October. Your teachers were interested and engaged, creating a vibrant atmosphere to the day. The visiting teachers from other local schools were made to feel very welcome, and many people commented on the great venue. Your staff were helpful and the facilities are excellent. We would be pleased to hold future events at your school as we continue to work closely together."

Both myself and the Stagecoach Theatre Arts team would like to thank you for the use of your outstanding facilities. We all had a truly wonderful time on Saturday, and were really impressed with the standard of the PA and lighting systems. We found the stage area to be ample for our 70 strong cast, and the audience were delighted to have such great views from the tiered seating. The fact that the seating could be retracted to enable a large rehearsal area was a great bonus, as we were able to troubleshoot whilst keeping the whole cast together. As a director, this was a great way for me to keep a finger on the pulse at all times, and enable me to quickly see opportunities to re-group students for further stagger- throughs. These facilities are superior to those of a number of small theatres, and I wouldn’t hesitate to take the opportunity to use them for further productions. I would also like to mention how accommodating and helpful the staff were. No matter what the query, there was someone there to help us, or find someone else who could help us when they were unsure. All in all, a fantastic facility, with the bonus of staff who go the extra mile to ensure that everyone is looked after, and everything runs as smoothly as possible!

The Marlowe Academy hosted an event for teachers organised by Aimhigher SE and the NCETM in November. I was impressed by the support provided by the Marlowe Academy, from the helpful porters who moved the presenter's materials from her car to the room to the help given in setting up the project and laptop. The room was very suitable for the event with tea, coffee and water in good supply throughout the day.
The very modern building makes it a pleasant venue and the lively friendly atmosphere added significantly to the event. My thanks to Mandy and her team.
