Just before Chrstmas, our Sixth Form students collected and bought gifts for children at the QEQM's Rainbow Ward. Pictured below are students and staff of the ward receiving the gifts.

A Level Success

Marlowe Academy students achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in both A level and equivalent exams.

Marlowe Academy principal Ian Johnson said: "It is great to see so many of our students achieving and gaining skills to help them throughout their lives.

"These are our best ever A-level results and I am very proud of all of our students who studied hard to achieve them. With application and the right environment, students can attain high standards despite their backgrounds and nationality."

Of the 30 leavers this year, 19 will go to university. James Banerjee, Age Aberut, Kaja Rasztar and Billy Lambeth all celebrate gaining places at universities.

Star performer Danielle Moore won a place at the University of the West of England after achieving an A* in sociology, a B in law and a C in English.
